Patrick Page stars as Comte De Guiche in the new Broadway production of “Cyrano de Bergerac,” and the actor showed Speakeasy some of his costumes and props in his dressing room, including his enormous, plumed hats, and his walking stick. Most important, however, is his 13-year-old Maltese, Sophie, who is with Page backstage every day.
Page comes to “Cyrano” from “Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark,” in which he played the Green Goblin to great acclaim. The actor discusses why “Cyrano” is his favorite play and his career in in both classical and pop-cultural theater.
